PHILADELPHIA The Temple University Athletics Department hosted an event on Monday, Feb. 2, celebrating the 29th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). Nearly 150 girls in eighth grade and below from the Philadelphia area came to Temple's Pearson-McGonigle Hall, where they participated in clinics with student-athletes from many of Temple's women's sports programs.
